This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of Rapid-App.net ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data, and what rights you have. We act as the data controller for personal data you provide through this website.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: username, email address, hashed password, language preference.
  • Verification data (when triggered): government-issued ID image, proof of address, country of residence, source-of-funds declaration.
  • Transaction data: deposits, withdrawals, subscriptions, on-chain transaction IDs and wallet addresses you provide.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser user-agent, referrer, timestamps.
  • Communications: support tickets, emails, chat messages.

2. Why we collect it (legal bases under UK GDPR)

  • Performance of contract: to provide you the service you signed up for.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with anti-money-laundering law (UK Money Laundering Regulations 2017), tax reporting, and lawful requests from regulators.
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, abuse detection, security monitoring, service improvement.
  • Consent: optional marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time).

3. Who we share it with

Personal data is shared only with:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers under written contract.
  • Payment-gateway processors when you deposit or withdraw via them.
  • Identity-verification providers, where verification is triggered.
  • Law-enforcement, regulators, or courts where compelled by valid legal process.

We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the UK and EEA. Where personal data is transferred to such providers we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or other approved safeguards under UK GDPR.

5. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open and for five (5) years after closure to satisfy AML record-keeping. Verification documents are kept for the same period. Technical logs are kept for up to twelve (12) months.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, request correction or erasure, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent (where consent is the legal basis). Send requests to compliance@rapid-app.net. We will respond within one calendar month.

7. Right to complain

If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully you can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern first — please write to us before going to the ICO.
